The title should be emphasised by the use of bold-face type. When displayed the letters used should not be smaller than 15mm. The subtitle should be printed in the same kind of lettering, but semi-bold and not less than 10mm high when displayed. This guarantees clear reading even from a distance of 2-3 meters.
The text should be broken up by the inclusion of drawings and/or photos. The use of colour makes the poster more attractive and effective. Material for mounting your poster to the poster board will be supplied by the organisers. Please refer to the ESC staff at the Poster Assistance Desk in the poster area for further assistance.
e-Poster: The full content of posters will be available for electronic consultation at the e-Library in the Poster Area during the meeting and post-meeting on the ESC Web Site.
In order to be included on the onsite poster e-Library, all material (in electronic form only), can be uploaded here or by clicking on the link provided on your agreement form (once submitted)) up to Friday 29 August 2008.
However, submitting your poster for electronic consultation does not replace the traditional paper presentation. Electronic posters give the delegates the opportunity to consult poster presentations at anytime during the congress, in particular those they have missed.
