Registration Fees

Fees apply only upon receipt of registration and payment before the respectives deadlines.

* Registrants applying for reduced rates must submit the verification documents with the registration form. If no proof is included with the registration form, the ESC reserves the right to register and charge the standard fee without notification.

* Accommodation, lunches, coffee breaks and transport are NOT included in the above prices.

Fee includes:

Fee types 1 to 4 and Day Tickets

• Access to all scientific sessions.
• Access to the exhibition of approx. 22,000 square metres. Exhibition opening hours: 17:00 - 20:00 on Saturday and 9:00 - 18:00 Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
• Access to the Emerging Technologies Showcase Area (ETSA), an area dedicated to innovative biotechnology, devices, software, equipment, products or services.
• Free Technolounge access, a fully equipped business-style lounge with Internet access, PC work stations and printers, plus information on future congresses, symposia and publications in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.
• Admission to the official opening ceremony (limited number of seats) & welcome reception.
• One copy of the Final Programme.
• One copy of the abstract CD-Rom.
• Free subscription for the year 2009 (except for fee type 2 and Day Tickets) to one of the journals: either European Heart Journal (twice monthly) or Cardiovascular Research (monthly). Please specify your choice on your registration form.

Fee type 5

• Admission to the official opening ceremony (limited number of seats) & welcome reception.
• Access to the exhibition, excluding access to the scientific sessions.

Special Registration: Press professionals and Italian Agencies benefit from specific conditions. Please carefully read the specific process to register here below:

Press Registration

Press representatives can register free of charge upon presentation of a valid press identity card or appropriate letter of assignment.

Press registration is conducted via My ESC (Individual Registration/ Press) supported by presentation of press ID by email, fax or surface mail.Until press ID is received and approved, press registration requests cannot be completed or confirmed.

Please register and provide your proof of press status well in advance of the Congress in order to minimise onsite queues and delays.Industry officials and their communications agents are not eligible for press registration. The decision of the ESC Press Office is final regarding all press registration requests.
