Sunday 31 August sees Munich play a part in the world’s largest running event. Human Race, organised by Nike, is taking place in 25 cities around the world and will unite hundreds of thousands of participants.
Held between 17:00 and 22:00, the 10 Kilometre run will wind its way through the streets of Munich, taking in many of the city’s sights along the way, with the finish being the Olympic stadium.
The ESC and the EACPR view the Human Race as a great opportunity to put the emphasis on healthy living, helping to prevent cardiovascular disease through sport. Present will be Professor Josef Niebauer, EACPR representative and member of the EuroPRevent 2009 congress scientific committee, thus reinforcing the message. To find out more about EACPR and CVD prevention, visit the homepage of the association.
We invite you to lead by example and take part in an event which will be unique in its scope and one that will encourage healthy living and overall wellbeing. To encourage participation, the registration fee has been waived and Nike will be not only present within the Registration Hall on Saturday and Sunday for race registration, but also in the Atrium (between Halls A1 & B1) on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday where they will be holding in-field product demonstrations.
