The Scientific Programme has been prepared by the Congress Programme Committee in close collaboration with the ESC Working Groups, Associations and the participation of the ESC Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science.
More than 380 scientific sessions in the main areas of clinical interest were presented either in the Pre-arranged Programme, in the Abstract Based Programme or in one of the Special Features sessions.

Continuing Medical Education Credits
The ESC Congress 2007 is accredited by the European
Board for Accrediation in Cardiology (EBAC) for 18 hours of external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she has actually spent in the educational activity. Attendance Certificates for participants will be provided on-site upon request.

The scientific programme of the ESC Congress 2007 has also been reviewed by the American Medical Association and approved for a maximum of 26 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. One credit may be claimed for each hour of participation in approved sessions.
