in Room Paris (Zone F)
Doors will open at 16:30
Free Access for registered participants and accompanying persons
with congress badges (Limited seating).
The Opening Reception that follows will take place in the
Exhibition Area and the ESC Zone (Zone C) from 18:00 to 20:00

European Heart for Children
Fundraising Dinner: Monday 29 August 2011, 20:00.
European Heart for Children (EHC) is a humanitarian non-profit organisation (Fonds de dotation) registered in France, focusing its activities in those ESC countries where treatment of congenital heart disease is sub-optimal.
In brief, the EHC:
- Undertakes medical missions, through its partner organisations (Bambini Cardiopatici nel Mondo, Chain of Hope and Chaîne de l’espoir), to treat and operate on children in those countries that lack an adequate health system.
- Trains, by means of study grants, physicians and allied professions in European centres of excellence to become promoters of congenital heart disease treatment.
- Participates in the development of congenital heart disease units in those countries where they do not exist and supplies devices and technical-scientific material.
Since the EHC was founded (August 2009) it has succeeded in diagnosing 458 children, treating surgically/interventionally 45 children and awarded 3 educational grants (1 cardiologist and 2 nurses).
This year’s Fundraising Dinner will take place at the City Hall of Paris, a unique setting for an unforgettable evening where the proceeds will support our on-going activities in North Africa.
Tickets for the Fundraising Dinner can be purchased by making a bank transfer*, between 15 May and 29 July, or at the Social Events desk from Friday 26 August until Sunday 28 August.
Cost: € 160/ticket, € 1 600/table (10 seats)
