Hotel Accommodation

The ESC has reserved rooms at negotiated rates close to the Charite University Berlin. All the hotels are only a short walk from the congress venue and are close to all amenities. The Charite University Berlin Mitte is located in the Heart of Berlin, close to the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and many local attractions.

Rooms will be allocated on a first come - first served basis.
Telephone requests cannot be accepted.  Rooms can be confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit payment. Confirmation vouchers are sent by email. 

Rooms are available from 16-19 July 2010. All other nights are upon request and subject to hotel's availability.

A limited number of rooms are available in the following hotels: these hotels are just a few minutes walk to the congress venue.

Rates include breakfast and VAT. 

 
PAYMENT CONDITIONS

All prices are quoted in Euro and payment in other currencies are not accepted.

• By credit card: Visa - Euro/Mastercard - American Express
  Two nights' deposit payment corresponding to the requested hotel and roomtype. 

• By bank transfer:  Full prepayment in Euro corresponding tot he requested hotel and roomtype.  The guest name must be clearly mentioned on the transfer. Unidentified bank transfers cannot be processed.  Bank transfers are accepted until 15 June 2010.

• By CHEQUE: Full pre-payment corresponding to the requested hotel and roomtype. Bank cheques must be made payable to the ESC Hotel Department and must be in Euro. Personal cheques are not accepted.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Until 16 April 2010: reservations can be cancelled free of charge

After 16 April 2010: one night's deposit will be charged

After 1 June 2010: deposits will not be refunded unless a room can be re-sold

MODIFICATION CONDITIONS

All changes must be made in writing and are subject to Hotels' availability. Changes will be accepted only until 15 June 2010. After this date the ESC cannot guarantee that modifications can be made.  Modifications and cancellations should be made directly on the voucher and returned to the ESC. If changes are possible, a new voucher will be issued. The ESC or the hotels reserve the right to charge cancellation fees for any nights that are cancelled after the deadline.

The Hotels will invoice guests for the number of confirmed nights mentioned on the last voucher.
