We would like to thank the more than 900 participants who joined us in London for FCVB 2012, submitting over 600 original abstracts, and we look forward to meeting again in July 2014 in the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain.

Our third Frontiers in CardioVascular Biology meeting (FCVB 2014) is being shaped after the two previous successful experiences of Berlin and London. The Core Scientific Committee, the Programme Committee and the Local Organising Committee take pleasure in organising a meeting that will bring the best and most novel cardiovascular science to participants.  Read more...

CME Accreditation

Frontiers in Cardiovascular Biology 2012 is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) for 18 hours of external CME credits. Each participants should claim only those hours of credit that have actually been spent in the educational activity. EBAC works according to the quality standards of the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), which is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).

EBAC credits are recognised by the American Medical Association towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). Detailed instructions for converting these credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits are available on the AMA website.

Prof Pries points to the importance of having a meeting which brings together cardiovascular scientists as well as giving young people the chance to promote their work.
