Scientific Programme
The Programme Committee are creating a dynamic programme based on the following topics:
- Sudden cardiac death
- Prevention / rehabilitation
- Intervention / catheter lab
- Heart failure / palliative
- Cardiac surgery / transplantation
The Programme will be designed to allow maximum interaction between participants and faculty. The following formats should stimulate discussion with the audience.
The programme includes:
- Discussion of recent developments in the fields of cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular nursing
- Debates that provide a lively yet balanced discussion on controversial issues.
- Sessions geared towards practical management of cardiovascular care in daily situations
- Joint Sessions
- Abstracts of Original Contribution
- Satellite Symposia
Call for Abstracts
The Online Services for abstract submission will be open on Wednesday, 1 October 2008. All abstracts will be reviewed and selected by members of the Scientific Committee.
The abstracts for presentation will appear in the European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing.
The deadline for submission is Monday, 1 December. Avoid the rush and submit as soon as possible.
