Record-setting attendance

More than 1 000 people participated in ICNC8, where the scientific programme was hailed as the the best ever.Almost 60 countries were represented at this 4 day meeting and more than 50 lectures and 300 original abstracts were presented.The host city, Prague, welcomed the delegates with music and warmth, and even the weather cooperated.

Jointly organised by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the European Association of Nuclear Medicine, and the European Society of Cardiology, ICNC has become the key international meeting for Nuclear Cardiology, held on a two yearly basis.The next meeting will be held in Barcelona, Spain in 2009 and will be chaired by Drs. Robert Hendel (USA) and Juhani Knuuti (FI).
