Scientific Sessions
All scientific sessions are 90 minutes.
Debate: Session featuring up to three debatable arguments. These sessions provide a lively yet balanced discussion on controversial issues.
How to session: provides practical, informative and has a great educational value - session devoted to the demonstration by experts of their practical approach to specific procedures.
Main session: presents experts' reviews on major topics in the field of nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT. These sessions constitute the 'Core Curriculum' for participants who want an up-to-date or 'state-of-the-art' overview.
Read with the Experts: discussions around practical cases and latest research & publications. Two experts will explain difficulties, pitfalls and limitations whilst putting the results in perspective. Focus on learning from various cases/research presentations.
Symposia: allows for in-depth discussions on developments in the various fields of nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT and structured around four to five presentations.
Industry Supported Educational Sessions Cooperation between clinicians, researchers and the pharmaceutical and technical industries has significantly contributed to a better understanding and management of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Abstract Sessions
These sessions are based the original contributions selected further to the call for abstracts. A unique opportunity for all to actively participate in the scientific programme.
Oral abstract sessions: abstracts will be presented orally in a dedicated session with related topics. The sessions will be concluded by an expert summary/review of the findings presented.
Moderated posters: consist of visual display of the research in the form of a poster - One of the authors will have 5 minutes to present it (coffee break sessions) in front of an appreciative audience and the presentations will be moderated by 2 experts in the topic.
