Biking in Amsterdam Biking in Amsterdam is a quintessentially Dutch experience and by far the most popular (and most efficient) form of getting around.  Bike paths connect the entire country and cyclists are well respected on the roads, making cycling an efficient as well as healthy and environmentally friendly way to get around.
Tips how to cycle safely - There are a few basic pointers to keep in mind after hiring your bike:
1. Don't do as the locals do: adhere to all traffic lights and signs.
2. Make sure you signal when turning.
3. Be careful not to get your wheels stuck in tramlines.
4. Always lock up your bike to something secure and immovable.

Amsterdam car

By Car: Amsterdam RAI is ideally suited for visitors who come by car. It is situated alongside Amsterdam’s A10 ring road (exit S109) and has its own underground car parks. As all main motorways can be easily reached from the ring road, the RAI is very accessible to visitors coming from within the Netherlands or abroad.
Numerous billboards give directions to the RAI. During large exhibitions orange signs displaying ‘P RAI’ will direct you to additional parking places from where a free shuttle bus takes you to Amsterdam RAI.
