A - Z CONGRESS USEFUL INFORMATION
Abstract CD-Rom
The Abstract CD-Rom will be available from the Medtronic stand in the Exhibition Area. You will find a voucher in your delegate bag to collect your copy.
Certificates of Attendance
Certificates will be available from the Registration desks as from Monday 23 May 2011 at 12:00.
City information
Refer to the dedicated desk in the Registration area to get details on Gothenburg, the Gothenburg pass and other useful information.
Cloakroom
The cloakroom will be located on the ground floor opposite the Registration desks.
Congres badge
The congress badge gives access to the congress from Saturday 21 May to Tuesday 24 May 2011. For security reasons, please have your badge visible at all times during the congress.
Lost badges: a fixed price of €35 will be charged for the replacement of lost badges at the Assistance Registration desks on the ground floor.
Importatnt Information
Please note that by scanning your badge on Exhibition Stands or at the entrance of an Industry Educational session, you accept that the company may contact you, using your contact details as submitted to the European Society of Cardiology.
Delegate Bag
Each delegate will be entitled to a congress bag to be picked up from the appropriate desk in the Registration Area. It will contain the Final Programme, Abstract CD-Rom voucher, notepad, pen and information packages from the industry.
Delegate Lounge 
Located on Level 1, next to the HFA Forum, the Delegate Lounge has been designed to offer delegates an appealing area to sit down, relax and connect to Wi-Fi in between sessions.
For those of you who left their computer at home, a business centre is also available on Level 1 with free internet connection and printers.

Delegates paying the standard fee will receive a two-year subscription to the European
Journal of Heart Failure (valid for 2012 in paper and 2013 in electronic version).
Language
The official language of the congress is English. No translation will be available.
Refreshment Breaks
From Sunday morning to Tuesday morning, open buffets are located in the Exhibition Area during break hours. On Tuesday morning, buffets will also be located on Level 1, in the HFA Forum.
First Aid
Participants in need of medical assistance should refer to the ESC staff at the Registration desks.
Registration
The Heart Failure 2011 registration fees (except the Accompanying Person fee) entitle
delegates to the following:
• Entry to all scientific sessions and the Exhibition
• Entry to the Opening Ceremony and Opening Cocktail on Saturday 21 May 2011
• A copy of the Final Programme and the Abstract CD-Rom
• Refreshment breaks from Sunday 22 May to Tuesday 24 May 2011
Speaker Service Centre
All speakers giving a presentation in the scientific sessions are requested to upload and
validate their presentation in the Speaker Service Centre (SSC) located on Level 1, a minimum of 3 hours before the session starts or the day before if
the session is at 08:30.
Visual Reproduction
Photographing or filming scientific sessions or meetings is strictly prohibited (except with prior permission of the ESC). The ESC reserves the right to video all presentations of the Heart Failure 2011 Congress.
