From Submission to Presentation : Timeline  

1.    Abstract Submission from 18 November until  14 January 2009.

2.    Grading and selection process January - February 2009

3.    Announcements of the results in early March 2009

4.     If your abstract is accepted, you will receive an email asking you to log in to submit your agreement form and confirm the name of the presenter - 
Attention: you must use the same Login name and password used for the abstract submission.

5.     Abstract presenters must register for the congress 
        Don't miss the early fee deadline: 31 March 2009

All abstracts selected will be presented in one of the formats below

  • Oral Abstract Sessions: You will get the opportunity to present your abstract in a lecture room with experts chairing each session.
  • Judges Choice Session: Top graded abstracts are selected for oral presentation. 15 minutes to present you work in front of a dedicated audience and 2 chairpersons experts in the topics presented ( Basic Science or Clinical).
  • Special Session dedicated to the YIA Oral presentation - Oral presentation of your research / work in front of a dedicated audience in a session chaired by 2 experts in the field of the competition . A Panel of judges will review your presentation . Results of the competition and Award presentation in the Auditorium on Monday 1 June. 3 Fields of Expertise : 3 different YIA Sessions :  Clinical , Basic Science and Nursing
  • Poster Sessions These sessions provide a visual display of research highlights. Poster displays are planned and presenters are available during coffee breaks so that delegates can view and discuss their work. This format allows a maximum of viewing time for research.
  • Moderated Poster Sessions The posters considered of special interest will be integrated in these dedicated sessions where the selected presenters will briefly discuss the content of their posters with two moderators in front of an appreciative audience.
