Congress Highlights selected by the EuroPRevent Congress Programme Committee

EuroPRevent is the only European meeting to embrace the complete spectrum of CVD from research through clinical practice to prevention in populations. Read below the Highlights selected for you by the Congress Programme Committee

EuroPRevent 2008 will open with a Keynote Lecture on Prevention of cardiovascular disease - a world wide challenge, An update on Preventive Cardiology practice in Europe will be given in regards to the latest results from EUROASPIRE III (22 countries in hospital & primary care) and EACPR President Hugo Saner will call upon the creation of Prevention & Rehabilitation Centres across Europe to meet the needs of high-risk people.

Hear about the political dimensions of cardiovascular prevention (European Heart Health Charter) and how the importance of CVD is recognized by the European Commission and European Parliament

Dont Miss these sessions!

  • The Fred Epstein lecture on Aspirin in the primary prevention of myocardial infarction and stroke
