About EuroPCR

The Official Congress of the Association

A major European event

EuroPCR contributes to the advancement of education and information on existing and new technologies in the fields of cardiovascular intervention. With open mindedness, we strive to build on EuroPCR’s solid foundations, constantly innovating in order to meet the attendees’ educational needs and expectations.

Who can attend EuroPCR?

EuroPCR is a course for interventional cardiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons, valve specialists, nurses & technicians, residents, industry researchers and analysts.
Our vision is that by sharing and learning from each other, we work towards the ultimate of medical ethics: consensus in action towards improved patient outcomes.

EuroPCR, a joint venture with EAPCI

The European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) was formed in 2006 as a result of an agreement signed between the ESC Working Group on Interventional Cardiology and EuroPCR. The agreement was approved at the ESC General Assembly held at the World Congress of Cardiology 2006 in Barcelona.

As such, EuroPCR is the official congress of the EAPCI and is a platform for expression, with the sole aim of reducing the burden of cardiovascular disease. To reach this goal and provide the best care for each individual patient, we must free ourselves from preconceived ideas, accept facts, integrate novelty and build a team concept, whilst sharing experience and expertise across the artificial boundaries of disciplines.

Slides and presentations of EuroPCR 2007 and EuroPCR 2008 are available here.
