Welcome to the European Society of Cardiology. Our mission: to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease in Europe

EUROPACE goes GREEN

EUROPACE goes GREEN

Green is becoming a universal cause and EUROPACE 2009 has significantly stepped-up its efforts and put in place projects and eco-friendly initiatives to preserve the environment.

We have focused on finding greener ways of doing things, considering the environmental impact of our projects while still offering the same level of service.

Take a look at our Eco-Initiatives:

Not only is the congress green but so is Berlin:

GREEN Berlin: with its wide parks, wild forests and a surprising amount of lakes and waterways, Berlin is one of the greenest European capitals.

Cyclists love Berlin! It is easy to take bikes onto the regional trains, S and U-Bahn. Berlin’s mostly flat terrain, crisscrossed by well marked cycling routes throughout the city, makes the bicycle the perfect mode of transport to get around.

"e-mobility Berlin": the world’s largest community electric car infrastructure project, e-mobility Berlin aims to have 100 electric Smart cars on the streets of Berlin along with 500 charging points throughout the city by the end of 2009.
