In recent years, advances in medical imaging have been developing quickly, making it possible to investigate cardiovascular diseases using multiple methods and approaches. In keeping with the tradition of the past 11 EUROECHO congresses, we will gather specialists in Echocardiography and other imaging techniques to share their expertise and findings in our annual congress to be held in Lyon, France, from December 10 – 13, 2008.
Each year EUROECHO attracts a greater number of participants, eager to share their experiences and knowledge with colleagues from around the world. EUROECHO 2008 will focus on recent advances in echocardiography and other imaging modalities as well as the classical teaching courses, workshops and hands-on sessions.
We continue to work in close collaboration with other ESC Working Groups and Associations to maintain the highest scientific quality in abstracts, sessions and discussions throughout the congress.
Lyon, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, invites you to stroll through its streets during the Festival of Lights and discover why it is considered to offer the highest quality of life in France. Surely one of the reasons for this reputation is Lyon’s rich culinary tradition - where better to enjoy this than a typical Lyonnais "bouchon" or bistro?
