Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of payment (by credit card, bank transfer or cheque) and a valid address on your individual registration form (we kindly remind you that sponsor addresses are not accepted). The registration will be acknowledged by email. You may update your address here.
Your congress badge will be mailed together with the congress bag voucher prior to the Congress. The badge will be sent upon the condition that the registration is paid in full before the pre-registration deadline of 5 November 2008.
We advise you to bring your confirmation email to the congress together with the congress badge and voucher in order to collect your congress documents as soon as possible after your arrival. You may be asked for proof of identity.
If you have paid the registration fee but did not receive your badge in time before leaving for the congress, please go to the special "Pre-Registration without badge" desk located in the Registration Hall of the congress centre with your pre-registration confirmation email.
If you did not pay in time, your badge will be available at the "Assistance desk" in the Registration Hall.
Package Fees
The package fee includes:
• Registration fee for the EUROECHO 2008 Congress
• EAE Membership for 2009

Individual subscription is also possible. All details are available on www.escardio.org/EAE, section "Membership" and on stands during congresses organised by the ESC.
"Standard Fee" or "EAE Member 2008 Fee" registrations cannot be changed into "Package" registrations at a later stage. In this case application for membership should be made directly through the EAE Membership Department.
Cancellation Conditions
Any cancellation or alteration of your registration must be notified in writing and will be subject to the following conditions:
• Refund of fees: a 25% administrative charge will be applied to cancellations up to 5 November 2008
• After 5 November 2008, no refund will be given
• Name changes requested before 5 November 2008 be charged 55 Euros
• No shows at the congress will be charged the full fee
• A fixed price of 35 Euros will be charged for the replacement of lost badges
Requests for reimbursements must be sent in writing. Refunds will be processed after the congress.
Deadline for Early Fee Registration is 1 october 2008
This applies to both online and paper registrations.
Deadline for Pre-registration is 5 November 2008. If you have not registered by 5 November 2008, you will need to register on-site in Lyon.
The registration desk will be open from Tuesday 9 December at 10:00.
Children
It is recommended to not bring children to this congress as no reduced children’s fee is available and children may not attend the sessions.
