The ESC has reserved a limited number of rooms in Lyon in various price category hotels.
Groups or Third Parties requests
Group reservations (more than 10 rooms) are handled separately and proposals are made on request. Please contact the Hotels Department by fax or email.
Third Parties requests (less than 10 rooms), by agencies or companies on behalf of another person, should be made by returning the completed hotel form (pdf - soon available here) by fax or email to the Hotels Department. Please do NOT use the online services.
Rooms are confirmed upon receipt of payment only!
Telephone requests cannot be accepted. Please note that after certain price categories have been booked out, the ESC reserves the right to confirm bookings in other price categories.
Upon receipt of the deposit payment, a voucher will be sent to the participants by e-mail. This voucher must be presented to the hotel and upon departure the deposit payment will be deducted from the total bill.
Payments
By credit card:
Deposit for two nights accommodation (according to requested hotel and room type) or full pre-payment.
In case of late cancellations or no-shows, the ESC reserves the right to debit credit cards for any additional nights originally booked if required by the hotel.
By bank transfer:
Accepted until 31 October 2008.
Full pre-payment is required for all nights (according to requested hotel and room type). Please make sure the name of the participant is mentioned on the bank transfer.

Cancellation Conditions
For cancellations received before 1 October 2008, the participant will be liable for one full night’s accommodation cost. After this date no refunds will be made.
Modification Conditions
Changes of reservations will only be accepted in written form and they should be made directly on the voucher and returned to the ESC Hotel & Social Events Department. If the changes are possible, a new voucher will be issued. The ESC cannot guarantee that modifications submitted after 1 November 2008 can be made. Reductions of nights after this deadline may be invoiced by the hotel. No-shows may also be charged in full if no prior notification is given.
Please note that the hotels charge for the number of confirmed nights mentioned on the last issued voucher.
