Scientific Programme The Scientific Programme has been put together by the EUROECHO 2007 Programme Committee with two main special themes this year: Contrast Echocardiography Echocardiography and Arrhythmias. Every year joint sessions are organised in collaboration with other Societies and Associations. The following groups are participating at EUROECHO 2007: Working Group of Valvular Heart Disease Paediatric Cardiologists European Heart Rhythm Association Association of Percutaneous Coronary Interventions American Society of Echocardiography More than 100 scientific sessions will be presented either in the Pre-arranged Programme or the Abstracts-based Programme sessions.

• 4 masterclasses with hands-on sessions on excised hearts at transplantation

CME Accreditation

EUROECHO 2007 is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) for 19 hours of External CME credits. Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that have actually been spent in the educational activity. EBAC works according to the quality standards of the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), which is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
