Welcome to the first edition of the Newsletter of the ESC Council on Cardiovascular Primary Care.

The newsletter is designed to inform you on developments in the field of cardiology with particular focus on prevention and patient care.

    PLUS - DON'T MISS!Travel Grants for the ESC Congress 2009

    The ESC Council on Cardiovascular Primary Care is offering travel grants to general practitioners for the ESC Congress 2009, 29 August - 2 September 2009, Barcelona, Spain.

    Deadline for applications: 31 May 2009, further details can be found here.

    Future edtions will feature updates on heart failure, atrial fibrillation and stroke, lipids and risk prediction guidelines.
