Fundamental & Clinical Pharmacology Journal

Fundamental and Clinical pharmacology - official JournalNEW - Fundamental and Clinical Pharmacology  - The journal officially affiliated with the Working Group..

As of October 2007 Fundamental and Clinical Pharmacology has become the new journal affiliated with the Working Group on Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Drug Therapy (WG). The journal is the official journal of the Société Française de Pharmacologie et de Thérapeutique and the Federation of the European Pharmacological Societies (EPHAR). It publishes reports describing important and novel developments in fundamental as well as clinical research relevant to drug therapy.
The journal is indexed in major library databases, including Medline, and the current impact factor of 1.771 has been increasing the last three years.

Importantly, the journal will feature specific and readily visible publication space for the WG, identified by the WG Pharmacology logo, which is dedicated to editorials, guidelines, recommendations and consensus papers. Furthermore, these pages will feature announcements of symposia and other activities supported by the WG. The annual report of the WG will also be published in the journal.

The Chairman of the WG Professor Faiez Zannad is one of two editors-in-chief for Fundamental and Clinical Pharmacology. It is the belief of the WG nucleus that this new collaboration will be an important tool to increase the visibility and enable broader communication of the activities of the WG.
