In this extensive review a up-to-date and in depth summary is given on the current imaging methodology, clinical applications and novel developments of positron emission tomography for cardiac applications. It is very readable review with several high quality illustrations that can be recommended to all clinicians interested in nuclear cardiology and PET imaging.
