ESC Working Group on Hypertension and the Heart

Dr S.E. Erdine The ESC Working Group on Hypertension and the Heart aims to study the relationship between the heart and high blood pressure. Domains covered by the Working Group include epidemiology, prevention, diagnostic aspects, pathophysiology and management (non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatment and their implementation).

The Working Group is involved in the revision of the European Society of Hypertension-ESC guidelines for the management of hypertension.

The WG is collaborating closely with the European Society of Hypertension and Working Groups with common interests, and contributes to various meetings, including the annual ESC congress.

We welcome all those with an interest in the heart and hypertension.
