Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Elevated blood pressure has been identified as a risk factor for coronary heart disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, stroke, peripheral arterial disease and renal failure. The mission of our ESC Working Group Hypertension and the Heart will be the improvement of awareness treatment and control of blood pressure which is very low in all European countries.
We would like to invite all the physicians and scientists working in the field of Hypertension to join us in this effort.
