The ESC Working Group on Acute Cardiac Care has endorsed the journal Acute Cardiac Care, formerly International Journal of Cardiovascular Interventions.
The first issue will be out in early April and members of the Working Group may subscribe to the journal at the discounted price of 85 euros, including online access.
With Rafael Beyar as Chief Editor and Gerasimos Filippatos, Mihai Gheorghiade and Hideo Tamai as Associate Editors the scope of the journal covers the four major disciplines within our field:
- Cardiovascular interventions dealing with new devices, new drugs and ever improving therapeutic modalities. Section Editor: Martin B Leon
- Acute Cardiac Care reflecting the development of treatment of cardiac patients in an acute setting. Section Editor: Yonathan Hasin
- Myocardial dysfunction, gene and cell therapy dealing with ongoing activity in finding cellular and genetic solutions for myocardial pump failure. Section Editor: Gad Keren
- Acute Cardiac Care diagnostics providing information on the development of
diagnostic and prognostic stratifications by humoral and imaging tools. Section
