Objectives

  • To collect information from the National Heart Failure organisations
  • To facilitate the development of National Heart Failure organisations by sharing the experiences of other heart failure organisations
  • To facilitate the implementation of clinical trials, registries and surveyx in HF
  • To promote the implementation of guidelines
  • To create a European network on surveys and registries

Our ultimate goal is to improve the management of heart failure patients, one of the greatest challenges in cardiovascular medicine in the 21st century given the size of this growing epidemic. We strive to achieve this aim by supporting the HFA in facilitating the communication and exchange of information between the different National Heart Failure Societies/Working Groups. We aim to set up an internet-based platform that may be used for both educational services and scientific/research tools.
