In Madrid, the new EHRA Board was officially presented and began its activities. It is a great honour and privilege for me to take the position of President for our Association, and I have the distinguished pleasure to work with the new President-Elect, Prof. Karl-Heinz Kuck and the past-President Prof. Panos Vardas, as well as with Prof Luis Mont (Secretary) and Prof. Christian Wolpert (Treasurer). First of all I would like to thank our Past-president and the President-elect of European Society of Cardiology, Prof. Panos Vardas, and all past EHRA board and committee members for their tremendous efforts, dedication and passion to establish EHRA as the leading European scientific association in arrhythmology.
I invite you to discover the names of our new EHRA Committee chairs, and I wish to thank all them for having accepted my invitation to serve EHRA to further pursue its mission.
