EuroIntervention, now starting its fourth year of publication, is a peer-reviewed journal of interventional cardiovascular medicine that has become one of the benchmarks in its field. Not only is it the official journal of EuroPCR and but also of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI). The Journal is endorsed by the European Society of Cardiology.

prof. P.W. SerruysThe Journal has a distinguished European and international editorial board led by Prof. Patrick W. Serruys from the Erasmus MC, Rotterdam. EuroIntervention expects to be indexed in PUBMED in autumn 2008.

 

 

CALL FOR PAPERS

EuroIntervention extends to all EAPCI members an open invitation to submit original research clinical papers to the Journal. This invitation not guarantee acceptance for publication, since submitted paper will undergo the normal peer review process. The submission deadline for November issue is 11 August 2008

Our next supplement, scheduled for release in August to coincide with the ESC meeting in Munich, focuses on a timely and burning issue in our field, the “Critical Appraisal of the Safety Concerns Tempering the Success of Drug-eluting stents”.

Originally conceived during a recent ESC Taskforce on DES in Nice, our special supplement Guest Editors have sought to widen the scope both in content and design by inviting other international experts to provide an overview as well as critical analysis of current and future practice.
