EAPCI Elections: Board 2011-2013 

The European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) is looking for senior, experienced members of the EAPCI to join its Nominating Committee, chaired by William Wijns as Immediate Past President.

Task

The task of the Nominating Committee will be to select the best 2 candidates for the future positions of President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer for the period 2011-2013. The selection is due to take place in January / February 2011. EAPCI relies on the members of the nominating committee to identify the ideal candidates for future leadership positions in the interest of the Association.

Rules

• The rules are that once elected as a member of the Nominating Committee, one can no longer stand as a candidate for any elective position within the association for the next 4 years after the end of the term (i.e. 2015). Please keep in mind these two important requirements when nominating yourself or colleagues and kindly confirm that nominees will accept to stand for the election and are well aware of the rules, duties and regulations.
• To be valid, an application should be submitted accompanied by a letter of support of EAPCI leadership members and/or Interventional Working Group / National society to EAPCI@escardio.org by 15 October at the latest.
