Biography
Born on 24 April 1959.
Echo-lab Director in a tertiary care hospital in Udine (Italy).
Fellow of Italian Hospital Cardiologist Association, FESC. Responsible of quality control in the Italian Society of Echocardiography. Member of the WGE (since 1992) and ASE (since 1994).
Member of the Scientific Committee of EUROECHO since 1998.
DICE session co-organiser at EUROECHO 2002-2003. In 2002 and 2003, I served the WGE in the accreditation and web-site committees.
Main scientific interests: digital echocardiography, valve prostheses, heart valve disease, LV function. Scientific activity: 113 peer-reviewed papers, 9 book chapters, 282 abstracts in journals and meeting proceedings, 97 lectures taken at national and international meetings, 181 attended meetings.
