Any National Association from a European or Mediterranean country may join the ESC Council for Cardiology Practice. Applications (PDF 16 Kb) must be addressed to the European Heart House*. Any member of a National Association who is a paid-up member of the Council for Cardiology Practice of the ESC, is a de facto member of the Council and, thereby, a member of the ESC with access to membership advantages.
Any board-certified cardiologist belonging neither to a national association, nor to a national council for Cardiology Practice from a National Society, and with a specific interest in the field of cardiology may apply to become a member of the Council for Cardiology Practice on an individual basis by submitting a brief (one-page) curriculum vitae including relevant references, and by filling in the Council application form (PDF 16 Kb). Applications must be addressed to the European Heart House*.
The Council represents more than 5,000 cardiologists working either in private practice or in out-patient clinics.
