Guidelines

The EACPR Guidelines Committee sets the objectives and priorities for the production of position papers, commissioning of position papers and supervision of process in liaison with the ESC Guidelines Committee and other international organisations.

Scientific

The EACPR Scientific Committee operates as Scientific Committee for EuroPRevent, it identifies
research samples for European research initiatives, opportunities for fundraising within Europe for research in cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation, and organisation of joint research initiatives. It provides advice for clinical scientists seeking academic partners and oversee the organisation of a research fellowship scheme for young investigators. The Scientific Committee also collects and prepares proposals for ESC Annual Congresses.

Education & Accreditation

The EACPR Education Committee acts on commissioning and production of educational products,  and coordination of intramural and extramural courses (ETP). It supervises EACPR sponsorship of independent meetings and participation in regional meetings in close collaboration with the ESC Accreditation Committee as well as other professional bodies involved in accreditation of cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation programmes.

Web Site

The EACPR Web Site Committee is in charge of maintaining the professional and scientific contents of the EACPR web pages, as well as web-based clinical education, in close collaboration with EACPR sub-committees and liaison with web officers. the committee also prepares a calendar of meetings in cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation and coordinates internal and external communication
