Today, the Working Group on Pathogenesis of Atherosclerosis has 261 members.

Currently, Membership of ESC Working Groups is free.

Candidates

Members of the Working Group on Pathogenesis of Atherosclerosis should

  • be actively involved in research in the field of vascular biology, e.g. atherosclerosis .
  • be either able to demonstrate a track record in the field of vascular biology or are executing a PhD in this research field
  • be expected to attend the Annual Sessions of the ESC on a regular basis.

How to apply?

Candidates must apply using the new online application form

Candidates should fill in the required information and submit a brief curriculum vitae including key papers and a short outline of the research interests

The Chairman will present the applications from suitable new members to the Nucleus for ratification. Unsuitable applicants (as far as formal requirements are concerned) may be rejected by the Nucleus. In this case, the applicant will be notified by email but there is no obligation to give him/her reasons.

ESC Membership You are automatically a Member of the European Society of Cardiology if you belong to a Working Group. Therefore you benefit from several advantages.
