Pulmonary Circulation and Right Ventricular Function

Print version

JL Vachiéry, chairman of the ESC Working Group on Pulmonary Circulation and Right Ventricular Function

Dear New Members, Dear Colleagues,

The main objectives of our WG are to inspire research by promoting international collaboration and multicenter trials independent from industry, to produce and implement clinical practice guidelines in the field of pulmonary hypertension and right ventricular function and to organize postgraduate educational programs and scientific meetings outside of the ESC annual meeting.
With this in mind and considering the growing interest of physicians in the field of pulmonary circulation and RV function, our WG organised its first Pulmonary Circulation forum in June 2006. In addition, the ETP course on management of PAH created this year was the second most attended ever at the European Heart House.. Together with the activities organized during the ESC annual meeting, these events represent the core activity of our WG.
By joining the group, you will have a unique opportunity to participate actively in this very exciting scientific and clinical exchange platform.

Thank you in advance for your contribution.
JL Vachiéry
Chairman of the WG12
