Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Drug Therapy

Print version

Dan Atar The ESC Working Group on Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Drug Therapy aims to promote research, teaching and clinical activity, as well as advising the ESC Board on matters relating to Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Drug Therapy.
One particular focus of our WG is "trials science", i.e., the discipline dealing with the planning, conduct and evaluation of evidence gained through cardiovascular trials.
The Working Group contributes actively to the organisation of the ESC Annual Congress and the generation of the ESC Guidelines.
The dedicated congress of the WG (as co-organiser) is the "Global-CVCT" (Cardiovascular Clinical Trialists Forum"), which takes place in Cannes every spring. It aims at bringing together Cardiologists, Academia, Industry and Regulatory Authorities for in-depth discussion of trials science.

Please do not hesitate to contact us in all matters of CV pharmaco-therapy.

Very best regards,
Dan Atar, Chairman
