National Societies

Print version

The European Society of Cardiology, with its main goal in mind, has not restricted its membership to the European Community countries, but instead has included several National Societies from North Africa and Eastern European countries. These fifty countries create a "Europe of Cardiology".

National Societies representatives wishing to join and become a member of the ESC should address the Vice-President for National Societies of the ESC, Prof. P. Widimsky, FESC, email who will inform the Board. The final vote is made at the General Assembly at the time of the Annual ESC Congress.
