The Role
Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for maintaining and managing the PCI image of a premier cardiovascular service provider by providing professional customer service, accurate correspondence, reports and testing via the Technician team.
In addition to the duties of an Cardiac Songrapher this role is responsible for the leadership, management and administration of a small but experienced team of Cardiac Sonographers.
Your duties will include:
1. Day-to-day management of the team.
2. Development and Training of Cardiac Technician who are in training to become Cardiac Sonographers.
3. Active membership in the Business Improvement Team.
4. Workforce planning using Company tools and guidelines.
5. Training and professional development of the Cardiac Sonographer team.
6. Performance management using Company tools and guidelines.
7. Managing Technician Capital equipment purchases, ensuring equipment and materials availability.
8. OH&S for the team.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be have a BSc. Clinical Physiology or equivalent and post grad work experience in Cardiac Sonography. The ability to obtain accreditation and membership with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) is essential. Experience in adult transthoracic, stress and transoesophageal echocardiography will be well regarded.

8. Use Microsoft Office at a high level of competency.
Salary will be negotiable and experience based. Reasonable relocation and visa assistance shall be provided to the successful candidate.
