A new release of HeartScore®, the ESC interactive tool designed to improve the assessment and management of cardiovascular disease (CVD) was launched on Tuesday 18 November 2008.
This revised version includes recommendations from the 2007 European Guidelines on CVD Prevention in Clinical Practice, with relative risk for younger patients, in addition to patient data history and progress monitoring.
HeartScore® is now available in three formats:
- A Web-Based version currently available in 13 languages
- A PC version available for download (European High & Low risk)
- A Quick calculator to proceed to CVD risk assessment without saving patient data (European High & Low risk)
HeartScore National Versions:
In addition to the European High/Low risk versions, country-specific and translated versions of HeartScore® have been developed in close collaboration with the National Coordinator for CVD Prevention and the National Cardiac Societies. National versions for Sweden, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Poland, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Russia are already available on-line.
