ESC Working Group on Myocardial & Pericardial Disease

Myocardial Disease

Dear Working Group Members,

Dear Friends and Colleagues

I warmly invite new colleagues to join our Working Group, since there is much work to be done to understand, diagnose and treat this complex but fascinating group of cardiovascular diseases.

Our Working Group in the next two years will have a strong educational commitment, especially to young cardiologists, and will expand collaborations with basic scientists as well as non-cardiologist colleagues with a multidisciplinary interest in Myocardial and Pericardial Diseases.

The Newsletter will continue to provide you new papers to comment each month as well as a case or image and interesting references for additional reading in our field of interest.
We cordially invite all of you to submit interesting cases and images for publication in the Newsletter. The submissions should be forwarded to the WEB Editor (

NEW !! They will undergo internal review within the Nucleus. The best submission each year will receive a complimentary registration to the Working Group meeting.

The next available will be in October 2015 in Florence, Italy for all submissions received by June 2015.

Last news! The 11th Annual Meeting of the Working Group on Myocardial and Pericardial Diseases will be held on 4 to 6 February 2015, in Tel Aviv, Israel.
