36th Annual Meeting

The Organising Committee Chairmen invite you to submit your research and actively participate in the scientific programme

Submit your abstract and get a travel grant:

Abstract selection

All submitted abstract will be accepted and will be presented in different formats, upon Scientific Committee decision, allowing for peer review, discussions and knowledge exchange.

  • Oral abstract sessions

    Featuring abstracts selected for their outstanding quality, presented orally in the lecture room and chaired by an expert in the field.
    Presenters for the oral sessions will be selected from the submitted titles. Selected presenters will be informed by e-mail directly.

On-site procedure: Presentations should be uploaded at the latest one hour before the beginning of the session on the dedicated computer in the preview room (Room E – ground floor – Nantes Convention Centre). We kindly invite you to double save your presentation on a USB key and/or CD ROM, (infrared USB should not be used). Tests will be made in the preview room and presentations will be projected from the convention center computers. Do not forget to add the necessary software application able to read your videos or specific documents.
-Powerpoint presentations for PC or Mac version 98, 2000, XP (no linux or unix)
-images under jpg, .gif, .tif, .bmp format
-videos .mpg, .mpeg, .avi standard compression, .Mov.
-no quicktime compression
-USB key compatible with PC

  • Poster sessions

    Abstracts stay on display for the lenght of the meeting and will be presented by the researchers. If you want to present a poster, please submit your abstract title before the extended deadline of 9 July.


Travel Grant:

Applicants for the travel grant must be Ph-D students or Post-Doc. To apply for the travel grant, please send an abstract, a CV and a motivation letter to Anne Mychak ( before the extended deadline of 9 July.
Grants will be awarded by the organising scientific committee and the nucleus members of the Working Group on Cardiac Cellular Electrophysiology.

Instructions for poster presentation

Assignments of poster locations will be made in advance. Each display area will be numbered and anumbered list of poster titles with presenters' names will be available and posted in the poster session room. Information on poster locations will also be given upon registration on the Saturday
morning September 15th, 2012.
All posters should be arranged in the poster session room at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. Each poster must have at least one presenter and the presenter(s) must remain with their poster throughout the poster session to answer questions.
Presenters in need of assistance should contact the conference Secretariat at the welcome desk.

Guidelines for Poster Layout:

Posters should fit height 145 x width 95 cm // 57 x 37 inches poster boards.
The poster boards are mounted on stands and are surfaced in white melamine.
We recommend you use lightweight materials only, heavy articles are difficult to secure.

The presenter must provide the following material to fix his/her poster to the board:
- Only double faced tape and small Velcro dots should be used (No glue, no staple and no pin or the display boards will be damaged).
- No audiovisual, projection, or computer equipment requiring electrical power will be permitted in the poster session area.
