Hellenic Journal of Cardiology is the official journal of the Hellenic Cardiological Society.When first published in 1948, the journal was in Greek only. Since 2002, the Journal has been published in two simultaneous versions, Greek and English, with six issues per year. The journal provides free access to the electronic edition, with a specific web page in English. The Annual National Congress of Cardiology focuses on the exchange of scientific information, encouraging interpersonal contact between Greek cardiologists.The Annual Seminar of the Working Groups provides a more focused view (including registries and guidelines), since proceedings are organised by the 20 Working Groups. Additionally, it operates an Electronic Library, which may be accessed either by visiting the Hellenic Heart House or through the HCS website. Other activities fostered by the Hellenic Cardiological Society include yearly grants for research and/or education, and also its Intramural Training Fellowship programme.
