As a member of the Association of Cardiologists of Bosnia & Herzegovina you are automatically a member of the European Society of Cardiology and the ESC Community.
The Cardiologist Section of BiH within the Yugoslav Cardiologist Association existed from 1961. The Association has more than 100 members (5 with diploma FESC, 8 with certificate of European Cardiologist) and 13 Working Groups. It is a member of the ECS and WHO.

Within its available possibilities, our association makes great efforts to provide technical improvements of the physicians from the area of cardiology.
Due to restricted material means, the association operates on a voluntary basis without paid professionals.
Since 2011, the Association of Cardiologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina publishes through the "Medicinski Zurnal" (Medical Journal) which was published for the first time in 1994. Published every three month by the Institute for Research and Development Clinical Centre University of Sarajevo, in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and English, the journal has a free electronic version in English via the Institute's website.
