The ESC Mission is reducing the burden of cardiovascular disease in Europe

Leading Scientific Congresses: The ESC Congress, the largest medical meeting in Europe, aims to be the European forum for the latest research in cardiovascular disease, both clinical and experimental. Other Congresses organised by the ESC include EUROECHO, EUROPACE, Heart Failure Congress, EuroPRevent, ICNC and many others... 

The ESC comprises: 6 Associations , 5 Councils, 15 Working Groups, 56 National Societies, and the distinguished community of ESC Fellows and Nurse Fellows


The production and continuous updating of Clinical Practice Guidelines, the organisation of educational courses, and pan-European surveys on specific disease areas as well as influential cardiology journals.

Initiatives: The ESC is a also major player in European affairs. Find out about the ESC's actions in this field, to influence public policy and raise the standard of cardiovascular care in Europe.
