ESCeL Platform mission statement:
“The highest European standard of training and education, to as many as possible, at the lowest cost possible”.
The online collaborative tool, for sub-specialties of cardiology, to deliver their curricula.

• The ESC eLearning Platform (ESCeL) is a web based tool which facilitates the harmonisation of cardiovascular training across sub-specialties of cardiology, as well as at national level.

• ESCeL tracks knowledge and skills assessment, professional development and the laboratory accreditation process. It is dedicated to cardiologists in training as well as to experienced cardiologists.

• ESCeL is a collaborative project involving the ESC, the Sub-specialties of Cardiology and the National Cardiac Societies.

• Upon completion of training, a certificate of excellence (completion of curricula) will be issued by the ESC and/or sub-specialty ESC associations . Certification at a national level can only be issued by National Accreditation Authorities.

ESCeL (version 1) will be launched at ESC Congress 2012. More about ESCel
