EAE teaching course on Update in valvular heart diseases: from clinical imaging to therapeutic innovations

The European Association of Echocardiography (EAE)
organises a teaching course in collaboration with the Italian Society of Echocardiography (SIEC) on 8-9 May 2012 in Milan, Italy.

This 2-day interactive course is dedicated to valvular heart diseases: from clinical imaging to therapeutic innovations.

Registration Fees:

Standard registration: 560 Euros
SIEC/EAE members: 425 Euros
Postgraduates, under 35 years and Students*: 250 Euros

The registration fee includes:
- Access to all congress sessions and the exhibition areas

- attendance certificate

*Reduced Fees: application must be accompanied by a letter from the applicant’s Head of Department stating full time undergraduate student status

Learning objectives

At the end of this course attendees will be able to understand:- how to use the most advanced imaging modalities to assess severity and
hemodynamic impact of the various valvular heart disease;
- how to use multimodality cardiovascular imaging in a cost-effective way
to manage patients with valvular heart diseases;
- evaluate indications and appreciate pros and cons of emerging surgical and
interventional options for managing patients with heart valve diseases.
