Networks for concerted action

The European Society of Cardiology is relying on its European and National networks to promote cardiovascular health in order to:

• Address clear and concise messages for CVD Prevention
• Support the ESC member countries in adapting the European Guidelines on CVD Prevention to local needs
• Implement the CVD Prevention tools and initiatives
• Ensure that these initiatives meet the medical professionals' needs

Main Partners:

• Joint European Societies CVD Prevention Committee (JPC)
• European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (EACPR)
• National Coordinators for CVD Prevention (NCCP)
• Health Authorities 

The creation of this efficient network led to political support from the European Commission and Policy makers in implementing prevention initiatives.
