19 October 2007: ESC Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Non-ST Segment Elevation Acute Coronary Syndromes Implementation Meeting

19 October 2007: Implementation Meeting for the ESC Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Non-ST Segment Elevation Acute Coronary Syndromes
The aim of this meeting is to teach best practice in the management of Acute Coronary Syndromes patients as defined by the recommendations in the new ESC Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Non-ST-Segment Elevation Acute Coronary Syndromes.

This meeting provides a unique opportunity for doctors to learn directly from the authors of these Guidelines published in June 2007. These Guidelines propose a comprehensive strategy for the management of NSTE-ACS, covering diagnostic procedures (particularly the use of biomarkers), new techniques available and indications for invasive evaluation and revascularisation strategies. Specific sections are dedicated to groups such as the elderly, women, heart failure, diabetic or anaemic patients etc.
