  • Raise awareness of the impact of iron deficiency (ID) on CHF patients’ outcomes and quality of life (QoL) independent of anaemia.
  • Review newly released guidelines for CHF in the context of diagnosing and treating patients for ID (and anaemia)
  • Review available tests and thresholds for ID  (and anaemia) in CHF
  • Raise awareness on the clinical benefits of i.v. iron therapy in comparison with the other available treatment options for ID and anaemia in CHF patients.
  • Discuss practical aspects of iron therapy in CHF.
