OUR MISSION: TO REDUCE THE BURDEN OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE
At the General Assembly of the ESC held during the ESC Congress 2010 in Stockholm, new ESC President Michel Komajda announced his intention to have nursing and allied professions represented on the ESC Board during his tenure. To this end he invited Christi Deaton, Past Chair of CCNAP, to attend all ESC Board meetings 2010 – 2012.
This provides CCNAP with a presence and input into discussions and decisions of the Board. This invitation is indicative of the high level of support that CCNAP receives from the ESC Board and their recognition of the importance of cardiovascular nursing and allied professions. The Council is very pleased to have this opportunity, and is very appreciative of the support provided to us.
