The Council for Cardiology Practice will perform internet-based surveys on a regular basis.

Invitations to participate in these surveys are sent to subscribers of the E-Journal and of the Council's Newsletter. If you have not subscribed to them, you may do so via your MyESC account.

Objectives:

  • Analyze the knowledge and the application of current knowledge about TAVI methodology for aortic valve replacement
  • Analyze the behaviour of Cardiologists in Practice on this specific topic
  • Understand how cardiologists see the future of TAVI procedures
  • Study possible implementation problems and solutions in the application of guidelines
  • Verify (at a future date) the modification of behaviour with a similar survey within the next few years
